Downtown Yuma is firing up the grills once again as the BBQ & Brew Festival returns to Main Street on Saturday, February 28, 2026, for a full day of mouthwatering food, live music, and community fun.

From noon until 9 p.m., Downtown Yuma will be filled with the rich aromas of slow-smoked barbecue, the sounds of live entertainment, and the excitement of friendly competition. This free, family-friendly festival is a favorite Yuma tradition!

A Full Day of Flavor & Fun

Festival-goers are invited to sample a wide variety of barbecue styles from local vendors, then cast their vote in the popular People’s Choice BBQ Competition. The winner will take home a $1,000 prize, making every vote count.

In addition to People’s Choice tasting, the festival also hosts the Best in the Desert Southwest Cooking Contest, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). Competitive barbecue teams from across the country will battle it out for valuable points toward the prestigious KCBS Team of the Year World Championship.

Live Music & Entertainment

Live music will set the tone throughout the day, creating a lively festival atmosphere from start to finish. With multiple performances scheduled, there’s always something happening on Main Street while you enjoy great food, drinks, and downtown energy.

Additional food and beverage options will be available for purchase from on-site vendors, offering something for everyone, whether you’re there for the barbecue, the brews, or just the vibes.
