Día de los Muertos is a time to remember those who came before us and celebrate the lives, stories and memories they left behind.
Throughout the evening, traditional elements of Día de los Muertos will come together with live entertainment, art, and community activities to create a vibrant celebration for all ages.
Explore beautiful altars created in honor of loved ones, watch colorful folklórico dancers and enjoy the sounds of mariachi. Admire the artistry and creativity of elaborate Catrina costumes, contribute to a community mural, and discover works by local artists.
Every part of the evening offers another way to experience and celebrate this rich cultural tradition.
Music will fill the park throughout the celebration, including a performance by the Chavez Family Band and Amor Prohibido Selena Tribute Band.
The evening will also feature traditional folklórico dancers and mariachi performances, bringing even more music and culture to the celebration.
Two special contests will showcase some of the artistry and traditions at the heart of Día de los Muertos.
The Catrina Contest invites participants to display their creativity through stunning costumes and interpretations of the iconic Catrina.
The Altar Contest provides a meaningful opportunity to honor loved ones through thoughtfully created ofrendas celebrating their lives and memories.
